Self-guided project

The purpose of this illustration for me was to experiment with colors and textures. I drew this from a photograph of an Ibex. It was done on a digital drawing tablet in Photoshop with the Kyle Webster brush pack extension.

The Scotch Bonnets are a five-piece reggae, ska, and punk band. Here I created a reusable tour poster the band could send in advance to venues for show promotion.

Client: The Washington Post Express

Scope of work: through the Editorial Illustration class at Baltimore Academy of Illustration, The Washington Post Express reached out to ask for submissions for their “Best Hot Dog in DC” feature article. I provided two concepts, and the Presidential Seal option was published inside the publication as a spot illustration.
